Oliver Sacks Foundation
Dr. Oliver Sacks was a physician, best-selling author, and professor of neurology. The client wanted to completely revamp the old website. The main emphasis was to showcase his books, published podcasts and documentaries.
Design Requirements
The desktop first website project was a redesign of the old website that lacked functional UI and modern visuals. The distinctive aspect of the project was the design while still being modern should not have an editorial feel. The client’s vision was to have a clean traditional look with certain modern touches.
What I did
The primary colors of the website are monochromatic shades of blue, derived from their existing logo. Certain important aspects of the website are the featured upcoming podcast episodes, showcasing the books with an option to buy, and ultimately regulate sales and donations for the Oliver Sacks Foundation.
