In 2020, I had the opportunity to assist a senior UX designer with KIWI, an insurance application focused on reward based system. With the help of various sprints, we developed the UX/UI design of a finance app that rewards users on each payment made in face of bills, premiums or mortgages. KIWI is a financial app and website. It helps users link all their carriers to a single platform to pay premiums and bills from one place. A reward system that can be cashed with each threshold achieved.

Challenge

The user-flow required not just 1 or 2 variables for the task to be completed, but 10+ inputs to successfully verify and link the users’ carriers. To make this flow possible, the challenge was to come up with a simpler way to make it a seamless questionnaire, what would be the typical set of information we would need users to input per insurance type if users have already linked their bank during on-boarding and choose not to link to their carriers.

What I did

I designed UI, which covers all the variables in the questionnaire but also feels like an immaculate and simple process. A separate page will be dedicated to each step. Each step consisting of icons and illustration that helps make it more engaging.
